Basics
- How are the words related? I populated a large database of word relations using Python's sentence-transformer model, and continue to fine-tune it manually.
- How do points work? You get a point for every guess and hint that you don't use. Each puzzle has a maximum of 10 points possible (for leaving all 7 guesses and 3 hints unused).
- Can I guess proper nouns?Standard word game rules apply — no proper nouns allowed. For example: "games" and "steam" are not related.
- Can I play past puzzles?Please do! Archive of Lexicles

- Do I need an account to play?Nope, your progress is saved locally in your browser. If you want to save your progress across browsers and devices, you can create a free account with any Google/Gmail address.
- Will my stats carry across devices?Only if you're logged in. Otherwise, stats are tied to your browser.
